KHSD gets record number of Paramount grants

Classrooms in the Kern High School District won a record 36 grants from a Central Valley school grants program, Paramount Education Programs (PEP) announced Monday.
The agriculture business and education collaborative will give KHSD more than $111,000 for projects in science and technology studies, college readiness programs, agricultural career preparation, creative arts programs, community engagement and other school initiatives.
