Kern prison inmate found unresponsive, dies

Authorities found a Kern Valley State Prison inmate unresponsive in his cell Saturday morning, and he was taken to the hospital where he died.
Rattanak Kim, 41, of Delano, was found in his cell at about 11 a.m. He was taken to the emergency room at Delano Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 11:48 a.m.
