Kern County has highest chlamydia rate in California
BAKERSFIELD, CA.-Kern County has the highest chlamydia rates in the state and according to the newly-released Kern County report card, the STD is most prevalent amongst young women ages 15 to 24. There were over 2700 cases of chlamydia amongst women ages 15 to 24 in 2013. That's compared to just over 1300 cases amongst men agest 15 to 24.
