Honor Flight Returns

BAKERSFIELD, CA- Local veterans are back home after touring Washington DC this weekend as part of Kern County Honor Flight.They got a warm welcome as they returned late Sunday night.The first Kern County Honor Flight of the year took off Friday with 37 veterans many of them seeing the memorials for the first time.This honor flight included World War II, Korean war, and Vietnam veterans.
