Highway 178 through canyon REOPENED

BAKERSFIELD, CA- The California Highway Patrol and CalTrans have reopened Highway 178 through the Kern River Canyon.

Rain brought down rocks and mud onto the roadway and at least one vehicle was hit by debris according to CHP. The person was not seriously injured.
