Highway 178 crash kills Bakersfield man

A fatal traffic accident early Sunday on eastbound Highway 178 in east Bakersfield claimed the life of 42-year-old city resident Frank David Romero and California Highway Patrol officers are seeking the driver of a second vehicle involved in the wreck.
CHP Officer Kirk Arnold said the driver of the other vehicle could face charges including felony hit-and-run and felony vehicular manslaughter.
