High Speed Rail forum held at BC

BAKEERSFIELD, CA. - The California High-Speed Rail Authority hosted a forum this morning to give details on the upcoming bid to begin construction through Wasco and Shafter.
The authority said the event allowed interested firms to network and learn about the requirements of the contract.     The contracted route will extend approximately 30 miles through the central valley, beginning one mile north of the Tulare and Kern County line to Galpin Street, north of Bakersfield.
