High Schools to allow more PED's in classroom

Starting in March, the Kern High School District will be asking students to BYOD.

Students at seven high schools will be allowed to bring their own devices to school in an effort to incorporate more technology in classrooms.

Thanks to the voluntary pilot program, select students will no longer have to tuck their technology away in a backpack.

Their phone or tablet will now help deliver the lesson.
