Health department shuts down motel

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The health department shut down El Don Motel on Union Avenue after an inspection revealed serious violations.
County Environmental Health Director Donna Fenton says plumbing, electrical and sanitation issues caused the health department to shut down the motel.Fenton said, "Each and every room had substantial, serious violations."
