GET riders get a look at proposed route changes

BAKERSFIELD, CA- GET bus riders got a chance to hear about proposed improvements to six of GET's busiest routes around Bakersfield.Under the proposal discussed yesterday, more buses would be added to routes 21, 22, and 44 and, evening service hours would be extended for routes 61, 62, and 82.Officials are also considering canceling bus service on Thanksgiving and Christmas days due to low ridership.No decisions will be made until the board's next fiscal meeting May 5.If approved, the chang
