'First Look': Wendy Wayne awards recipients share humanitarian stories

A local activist and a student will be honored as Cal State Bakersfield's 2015 recipients of the Wendy Wayne Awards on Thursday.

The award is named for Wendy Wayne, who was a humanitarian activist and advocate for public health who died of cancer in 2012.
