Firework violators face misdemeanor charges in court

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) -- Those accused of violating local firework laws over Independence Day arrived in court Tuesday. They were fined up to $1,500. Some violators had their fines reduced to $480.
There were eleven fires this year caused by illegal fireworks.
