Fire at Sunkist citrus packing facility

Woodlake, CA - Fire crews tackled a massive fire at a citrus packing facility in Tulare County.

The fire happened just before 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 13 in the town of Woodlake.     Fire officials say one million orange cartons burned along with two-thousand wood pallets at Visalia Citrus Packing, which is owned by Sunkist.     One outbuilding was gutted.     No injuries were reported, but the fire caused an estimated $1 million in damage.
