Final phase of Westside Parkway set to open

BAKERSFIELD, CA- The final phase of the Westside Parkway officially opens Wednesday afternoon.The new stretch of road will open the freeway from Allen road to Stockdale Highway.This part of the freeway will feature two lanes both east and west.TRIP officials say this is a departure from three lanes at other parts of the freeway because they expect less traffic.
