Fan drive to help keep the community cool

BAKERSFIELD, CA - As temperatures begin to heat up, many in Bakersfield could use your help to stay cool. 
Next week, KGET is teaming with the Volunteer Center of Kern County to collect new or gently used fans as well as cash and check donations.     Last year, the community gathered to help hundreds of less fortunate people in our community keep cool during the summer months.
