Fallen Veterans to be honored

BAKERSFIELD, CA- The public is invited to attend a ceremony to honor deceased veterans with no families of their own. It's happening at 1:15 Thursday afternoon. The Friends of Fallen Heroes organization will be providing full military honors to vets interred at the Bakersfield National Cemetery. The organization says the public is encouraged to attend in order to pay respect and tribute to veterans who may be gone but are not forgotten.
