Explosion at refinery in Torrance

We're following some breaking news out of Torrance this morning, where there has been an explosion at the ExxonMobil refinery.

In a statement, ExxonMobil said the plant experienced an incident at 8:50 this morning.

Shaking was reported at homes miles away from the plant.

You can see dust covering a wide swath of the damaged area, and smoke can be seen still rising from the damage.
