Elephants will be back at the Kern County Fair

BAKERSFIELD, CA - Animal rights activists leaving Monday's fair board meeting didn't get what they wanted, but it wasn't a total loss.The Kern County Fair Board voted 6 to 3 to allow the for-profit company "Have Trunk Will Travel"back to the Kern County Fair for two years. But after that, they won't renew the contract.The fair board says the safety of fair goers was the number one concern in the decision making process. But "Have Trunk Will Travel" insists there's no danger.
