DUI checkpoint results

BAKERSFIELD, CA - Police arrested four people for allegedly driving under the influence -- during a DUI and driver's license checkpoint in southwest Bakersfield on Sunday night.
The checkpoint was part of the Kern Avoid DUI Task Force, conducted in an effort to reduce the number of people injured or killed in DUI crashes.     The checkpoint was held on Old River Road, near Stockdale Highway.     According to police, they screened more than 1300 vehicles.
