Driver who died in accident identified

Leonardo Diarte, 23, of Bakersfield, was identified as the man who died May 1 after a traffic accident at Truxtun Avenue and Gage Street, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
Diarte was listed as the driver of a vehicle that was hit by another vehicle about 2:30 p.m. that day.
