Delta flight returns to Los Angeles after mechanical problem

A Delta Air Lines Boeing 757 experienced a mechanical problem soon after takeoff Tuesday on a flight from Los Angeles to Minneapolis and had to circle off the Southern California coast for about an hour to burn fuel before landing safely back at the airport.
