Delano grape grower adds solar power system

A Delano grape grower, packer and shipper has added a 1.2 megawatt solar power system expected to trim its utility bill by $330,000 a year.
Four Star Fruit's photovoltaic installation is intended to provide more than 60 percent of its energy needs, which include a 170,000-square-foot refrigeration plant.
