CSUB Foundation owes students $1 million

The nonprofit arm of Cal State Bakersfield has, for about two years, been sitting on upward of $1 million donated to the CSUB Foundation for student scholarships, according to the Foundation. The nonprofit foundation receives both restricted donations, which must be used the way the donor decides, and unrestricted donations, which can fund almost anything to help the university.
