Crash on Panama Lane leaves one dead

BAKERSFIELD, CA- Police are investigating a deadly crash that happened early Thursday morning. Investigators said a single car was headed eastbound on Panama Lane near Ashe when for some reason it left the road and hit a power pole. There was one person in the car and police say they died at the scene. Panama Lane was closed for several hours as police investigated but is now reopened.
