Council, supervisors to talk high-speed rail settlement

The Bakersfield City Council will likely meet next week to discuss settling its lawsuit against the multi-billion dollar bullet train, City Attorney Ginny Gennaro said Thursday.

Bakersfield filed a California Environmental Quality Act lawsuit in June to stop the train, alleging the project's environmental impact report is "legally inadequate."
