Competition all about the bots

The buzz of moving metal robots equipped with levers, hooks, lights, gears and wheels were heard Saturday as students competed at the Streets of Bakersfield Robotics Extravaganza.

About 50 teams, made up of more than 300 students, attended the VEX Robotics Competition at the Kern County Fairgrounds.
