City cancels Fourth of July Fireworks

BAKERSFIELD, CA- There will be no fireworks this Fourth of July at the Park at River Walk.A letter from the City Manager's office, states although the annual show is very successful, the city was unable to find a sponsor for the fireworks this year.The show was sponsored by Brighthouse Networks and Dignity Health last year.17 News received a message from at least one business wanting to help sponsor the show.
