Christmas parade lights up downtown with cheer

For Corina Prior's family, the Bakersfield Christmas Parade is a holiday tradition, so much so they arrived two hours early Thursday to save their spot in front of the Fox Theater.

Prior, 29, of Bakersfield, and her family set up lawn chairs and a table to hold Chex Mix, brownies, bottled water, marshmallows and an insulated jug holding 2 gallons of hot chocolate for the 32nd annual parade.
