CHP: Pedestrian dies after being hit by two vehicles

A pedestrian walking along Highway 58 died early Sunday morning after he was struck by two vehicles in successive collisions, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The pedestrian, whose name has not been released, was walking on eastbound Highway 58 just east of Highway 184 when he was struck by a BMW driven by a 25-year-old man, according to a CHP collision report.
