CHP issues alert for missing Mojave woman

BAKERSFIELD, CA- Authorities have issued a Silver Alert for a missing elderly woman from Mojave.

According to the California Highway Patrol's traffic advisory website Bessie Jackson was last seen leaving her residence in Mojave last Tuesday at about 8 in the morning.

The CHP says she may be suffering from a medical condition and be disoriented.

They say she may be on foot, and her cellphone was pinged in the Long Beach area Saturday.
