CHP investigating pedestrian vs vehicle accident

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash on Highway 99 that sent a pedestrian to the hospital.
According to the CHP, a man was walking across the highway just before 3 p.m. on Feb. 14, when the driver of a Chevy Silverado hit him.     Frst responders performed CPR on the pedestrian and he was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown.      CHP did not have a response as to the man was walking on the roadway.
