Charges refiled in deadly suspected DUI crash

BAKERSFIELD, CA - A man suspected of driving drunk and killing a pregnant woman and her unborn child in January 2014 is back in jail.

The district attorney's office refiled second degree murder and DUI charges against Joseph Maine.

In December, the charges were dropped after evidence showed he had a green light at the time of the crash. At that time, Deputy District Attorney Courtney Lewis said they planned to re examining the case. Since it was filed originally as a felony, it can b
