Centennial wins We the People

Centennial High School will represent Kern County in the state We the People contest after taking the overall victory in Saturday's regional competition, which tests student knowledge of government and the U.S. constitution.

About 300 local high school students competed in the We the People congressional hearings competition at Golden Valley High School.
