Centennial High student dies one week after accident

A 16-year-old Centennial High School student struck by a car last week near the northwest Bakersfield school has died.

According to a release from the Kern County Coroner's office, Ashley Patricia Ross died at 9:20 a.m. Thursday at Kern Medical Center.
