CCST releases report on well stimulation in California

SACRAMENTO, CA - The California Council on Science and Technology released volume I of an independent scientific assessment today, Jan. 14, on well stimulation in California.

The report describes the process of and locations of oil and gas production and includes hydraulic fracturing as well as possible future production.

The report was conducted in response to SB 4 and prepared for the California Natural Resources Agency. The report is the first in a three-part volume.
