Caregivers call for equal pay

BAKERSFIELD, CA.-Local caregivers are joining in on a statewide protest, calling for fair pay. 

The workers say they want Gov. Jerry Brown to treat their work equal to any other job and offer them overtime pay among other things. 

Protesters say it was promised as part of last year's budget deal, but has been put on hold after an out-of-state lawsuit. Local caregivers will join others across California in Sacramento to hold a vigil outside the governor's house later this wee
