CALM developing coast room, challenge course

The California Living Museum is developing a new exhibit — the California Coast Room — to bring native coastal creatures to the zoo, including some that people can touch. The first phase of the exhibit, scheduled to open in January, will feature a touch tank with sea urchins, starfish and other marine wildlife you typically find in tide pools plus a second tank — no touching allowed — with jellyfish.
