Brighthouse has widespread phone outage

BAKERSFIELD, CA- Brighthouse is having problems with its phone service in the Bakersfield area as of Wednesday afternoon. Some customers are unable to make outgoing calls.Brighthouse says problem is widespread but its hard to say how many customers are affected because the problem is very spotty.
They say they have crews working on it but are not sure when it will be fixed
