BPD to hold community forum tonight

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield Police Department is holding a community meeting Thursday night in downtown Bakersfield.     They'll be letting people know about changes in how they patrol.
The department has been hosting a series of meetings since last month.     According to BPD, it has geographically redrawn patrol areas into six zones instead of the 25-beats it had before.     The meeting is part of an on-going effort to make the department mor
