BPD: tip line 852-7800 no longer staffed

Bakersfield police are notifying the public that the tip line number, (661) 852-7800, established for the investigation into the death of officer David Nelson, is no longer being staffed.Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact Detective Jim Moore at (661) 326-3540, the Bakersfield Police Department at (661) 327-7111, or the Secret Witness line at (661) 322-4040. The condolence line (661) 852-7021 will remain operational until further notice.
