BPD thwart drive-by shooting attempt

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for your help as they work to solve an attempted drive-by shooting on Union Avenue.
On Feb. 18,  two detectives were following up an investigation at the Johnny Quick store at 4th Street and Union Avenue when someone ran inside and said there was going to be a drive-by shooting.      A white car with the passenger leaning out of the window was spotted by detectives just asthe passenger began pointing a gun
