BPD and PG&E team up to save lives

New Year's Eve is just around the corner and for many this means celebrating with friends and loved ones. However, according to the Bakersfield Police Department, the city is on track to hit a new record for the highest number of fatal automobile accidents this year. So far in 2014, there have been 34 fatal crashes resulting in 35 deaths in Bakersfield, and typically there are one or two more during the New Year's holiday.
