Boss Pizza to hold downtown improvement fundraiser

BAKERSFIELD, CA - Bakersfield residents with an appetite to improve the downtown area will have an opportunity to do just that next week.
Boss Pizza in downtown Bakersfield will be holding a fundraiser next week with 100 percent of food sales that day -- up to $10,000 -- will be used to put up lights on the corner of 18th and Eye Streets.     Organizers hope this will help create a safer and cleaner downtown.
