Blood bank reserves are low, need donations

BAKERSFIELD, CA - Houchin Blood Bank is running low on blood, and they need your help.
Houchin representatives posted a message and photo on their Facebook page, showing their depleted supply.     Reserves have fallen below 50 percent in inventory, and are reaching out, encouraging the public to donate.

From their Facebook page, "This is a major problem right now. All types of medical services rely on our blood bank every day! Please reach out to your family and frien
