Bicycle vs. auto on Niles Sunday night

Police are investigating a vehicle vs. bicycle accident that occurred Sunday night at about 8 p.m. in east Bakersfield, near Monterey Street and Beale Avenue.
The Bakersfield Police Department responded to calls of a bicyclist struck by a vehicle and found a man laying in the street suffering from minor injuries. The man, whose name has not been released, was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The accident is under investigation.
