Bakersfield teen reigns supreme

She loves fashion and glamour and wants to be a model, so it seemed like a good idea to the parents of Veronica Hudis to enter their 12-year-old into the California Miss Amazing Pageant. Still, they were apprehensive. Veronica isn't like other girls but, then, Miss Amazing isn't like other pageants.

"I have autism," Veronica said. "I think that makes me special."
