Bakersfield rankis high for STEM salaries

A recent study shown Bakersfield is near the top in salaries for those with STEM related jobs.

Wallethub lists Bakersfield as the fourth highest in the nation for STEM salaries.

According to Department of Commerce estimates, STEM — science, technology, engineering and math — professions will expand 1.7 times faster than non-STEM occupations between 2008 and 2018. That’s good news, considering the fact that about a million of such highly skilled jobs are needed to ens
