All charges dropped for man charged with DUI and murder

BAKERSFIELD, CA - All charges have been dropped against Joseph Maine, the man charged with driving under the influence and murder, for the deaths of a pregnant woman and her unborn child. The accident happened in January of 2014 on Monitor Street and Fairview Road.

Joseph Maine's six dismissed charges includes two second degree murder charges. Deputies said Joseph Maine was drunk when he ran a red light at Monitor Street and Fairview Road.
