Agency: SF sheriff's license suspended after traffic accident

Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi and his personal insurance provider were not notified by the DMV about the suspension and he is trying to resolve the matter, Kenya Briggs, a spokeswoman for the department, said in a statement Monday.
