$11 pet adoption event today only

BAKERSFIELD, CA - For "Just One Day," Kern County Animal Services will not euthanize any of its dogs and cats and provide the community with a chance to adopt them at a reduced price.
On Thursday, Animal Services will participate in the "Just One Day" national event.     All cats and dogs will be available for a reduced adoption fee of $11.     The goal is to save lives and adopt out as many wonderful animals as possible in one day.
